Chapel Hill Chamber Music Workshop
A Performing Workshop for Adults
Join chamber music colleagues from across the globe in reading, studying and performing great chamber music repertoire. The Workshop, for strings, woodwinds, French horn and keyboard, welcomes the most experienced musicians as well as those new to the chamber music setting.
What We Do...
The Chapel Hill Chamber Music Workshop began its intensive week-long chamber music sessions in 1991, with a faculty of seven and twenty-three eager participants. The workshop now maintains a staff of five, plus four performing assistants and a faculty of eighteen. Each year the workshop hosts around 75 participants from across the United States, Europe, Israel, and Japan.
Performances
The workshop features a series of faculty performances as well as the concluding participant concerts on Thursday and Friday.
Workshop Groups
Participants are assigned to three ensembles that meet each day of the workshop with an assigned coach.
World-Class Faculty
The workshop faculty members are an ensemble of internationally-known performers and teachers.
